Top 10 of 2011 films (for now)
I know I posted my Top 5 at Anomalous Material. But if I were forced to do a Top 10, here it goes.
- Rise of the Planet of the Apes (MVP: Andy Serkis)
- Midnight in Paris (MVP: Owen Wilson)
- Thor (MVP: Chris Hemsworth)
- Horrible Bosses (MVP: Charlie Day)
- X-Men: First Class (MVP: Michael Fassbender)
- Paul (MVP: Kristen Wiig)
- Trust (MVP: Clive Owen)
- Everything Must Go (MVP: Will Ferrell)
- Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part II (MVP: Alan Rickman)
- Limitless (MVP: Bradley Cooper)
I know it isn’t exactly the strongest Top 10 out there and I haven’t seen many films, but it is what it is. Only film worth abouve the 4-star rating would be the top 2.
Hp placed 9?
There are fun moments in the Harry Potter film, but overall it wasn’t that great to me as a whole. DHP2 is more of a compliment piece to the first part and it’s a good one for that purpose. But as a stand-alone film, it’s not that strong. Makes me wish Deathly Hallows wasn’t split in two parts because if both parts were attached together and premiered during this year, Deathly Hallows would easily be on the #3 spot at least.
